This past week Unity hit her 20 month mark. She has grown into such a cute, active person. She is always eager to help out with everything and is anxious to test her limits regardless of the consequence. She is a little anti-social with children outside of her circle of friends (spending to much time with her adah), but she is starting to open up to other children.
This past weekend the three of us picked out our Christmas tree and decorated it. Unity was too young last year to enjoy this with us but this year she was very inquisitive. At first she was very interested with getting into the tree and I felt for sure the tree would be on the ground with Unity underneath, but she has learned very quickly that the tree is not for her. Babelle is another story, he waits till we go to sleep and then has a party with the tree.. every night.
This December, like last year has been quite cold. I enjoy the cold but most in this area do not. Well I am happy to say that Unity clearly has my liking of the cold. No matter how cold it is outside she always wants to go to the Zoo. Cold fingers and cold toes will not deter her from outside fun.
We are anxiously waiting for the first real snow (which I think will come after Christmas) so Unity can try out her new skis. Later this winter Unity and I will start going to a local landfill..err.. ski resort and start her out towards a big career as a ski racer (or just have some fun in the snow).
We are going to spend Christmas in RI as usual and will post pics again around that time.
Happy Holidays!
