Celebrate! Unity

Here are a few new pictures from the weekend.

She wore a dress for the first time when we went to meet my coworkers after school on Friday. She looks like such a big girl!

Unity seems to be changing almost everyday. She is getting heavier and longer, and her eyelashes have now fully come in. We are still unsure about her eye color, but for now they are a brilliant blue.

This week Unity has been busy growing, sneezing, eating, sleeping, and observing her new world. She helped Daddy stack some wood, took a leisurely nap in a bed of violets, enjoyed her new swing, and kicked around in her lion slippers. As you can tell she has had a busy and exhausting week.

Unity is almost 1 month old now. She is growing up so fast. Last Thursday she had a check up with Dr. John. She is now 21 inches long (vs. 19 inches at birth) and weighs 9.7 lbs (vs. the 8.2 lbs at birth). He told us that she looks perfect, but of course we already knew this.
Last week Unity and Mommy went to Target to get her a swing. We aren’t sure if she is a big fan of it yet. I think she still prefers human swings, such as a Daddy or a Poppy. She has some very alert time during the day where she likes to look out windows, play on her floor mat, or hang out with Mom and Dad. Oops, she just woke up, that’s all for now.
